BETH NICKEL (SCHAUFELE)

October 22, 1979 – February 2, 2021

 

It is with great sadness we announce passing of Beth Nickel in Abbotsford BC on February 2 after a brief battle with brain cancer. Beth is survived by her loving husband Joel and children; Elijah, Katie and Ethan. She also leaves to mourn her memory her parents, Ron and Leila Schaufele, siblings; Ronelle (Nigel), Clark (Katherine), Laurence (Monique), Alex and Graham, Dave and Ruth Nickel, Graham (Sharon), Clayton (Delayne) many precious nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Beth was predeceasd by her grandparents Reuben and Catherine Schaufele and Art and Nora Anderson.

The funeral service was held in Abbotsford BC on Feb. 10, 2021. The service was live streamed but will be available on YouTube under “Beth Nickel Memorial”. An online memorial concert will also be live-streamed on February 20, 2021.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Beth Nickel Memorial Endowment for the Performing Arts (a music student endowment)

 

 


 

GAIL ANNE CONGRAM

November 25, 1946 ~ February 4, 2021

Gail Anne Congram, age 74, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eric and Annie Congram; and brother, Ross Congram. Gail lived an adventurous and full life, living in Calgary, Vancouver Island, and eventually returning to her hometown, Redcliff. In her retirement she enjoyed friends, golf, spending her winters in Yuma, AZ, and loved her doggy Jayare. Gail is survived by her brother, Glenn (Debra) Congram of Cochrane; her nieces, Jill (Andy) Congram of Cochrane, Olivia Congram of Medicine Hat, Alexandra (Mike) Hovan and their son, Xander of Vancouver; and close friends, Brenda and David Slack. Gail will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends. The family will celebrate Gail’s life with a private graveside service.
