Svejkovsky to face Sea Dogs in eCup final

Medicine Hat Tigers forward Lukas Svejkovsky will face off against Saint John Sea Dogs winger Riley Bezeau for the right to donate $1,000 to the charity of his choice in the Memorial eCup final tonight at 4:15 p.m. Bezeau defeated Acadie-Bathurst Titan forward Dylan Champagne in a best-of-three semifinal Wednesday, rallying from a 10-6 loss to reach the final with 6-0 and 4-2 wins. Svejkovsky – who had yet to select a charity as of Saturday afternoon – is now the only player who has not lost a game in the 64-team Canadian Hockey League e-sports hockey tournament after sweeping Ty Collins of the Mississauga Steelheads, 5-3 and 4-2, in a best-of-three semifinal Tuesday. The final will be streamed live on Twitch and Facebook. 5-4
