Police Point Park is letting people know that cross-county ski and snowshoe rentals are still up and running during business hours.
The Nature Centre is open 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday to Sunday. People are asked to show up by 3 p.m. so there is enough time to process the request and for people to do the activity.
At this time, people are able to drop in to rent gear, but that may change to a reservation system. The Nature Centre will notify people if or when this happens.
Rentals cost $4 per hour to use at Police Point Park, which includes boots and poles.
Only one group or cohort is allowed in the Nature Centre at any given time. Visitors are required to wear masks or face covers when entering the centre.
People are encouraged to phone the Nature Centre before dropping by to make sure rentals are available.
The park can be reached at 403-529-6225.
