The McCoy Colts senior varsity volleyball team shook off an early deficit in enemy territory and stormed back for a four-set victory over the rival Vikings (16-25, 25-17, 27-19, 25-18) on Tuesday night at Crescent Heights High School.

After dropping the first set by a considerable margin, the Colts dug in and took control of the final three frame – winning them in succession to take the match.

The Colts and Vikings stuck around to play a fifth set, and McCoy won that too, 15-12.

Both teams return to action Nov. 10, with McCoy playing host to Medicine Hat High School, and the Vikings welcoming the Eagle Butte Talons to Crescent Heights.
