Gators edge Colts to kick off JV volleyball season

Bow Island’s Senator Gershaw Gators opened the Medicine Hat High School Volleyball League’s junior varsity season with a 3-2 victory over the visiting McCoy Colts on Tuesday evening. McCoy did their best to dig out of an early two-set deficit by rallying to force an evenly matched fifth-set tiebreaker, but the Gators ultimately prevailed for the 25-23, 25-23, 21-25, 17-25, 16-14 win. 3-2
