Moll tops Boutkan to win Hat Lawn Bowling Club’s ladies singles title

Barb Moll claimed her first Medicine Hat Lawn Bowling Club ladies singles championship Tuesday by defeating Ann Boutkan 15-3 in the final.

Moll and Boutkan traded points for the first four ends before Moll took over, ending the game two ends early in the 10th.

Moll – who has been lawn bowling for four years – earned her place in the final by defeating two-time champ Joan Theriault last week.

The men’s singles championship game will take place later this week between top-seed Stephen Bezanson and third-seed Wes Bresee.
