Local developer’s video game delayed until February over funding issues

By Medicine Hat News on August 4, 2020.

Time Crackers will have to wait.

The Nintendo Switch video game being developed by 19-year-old Eagle Butte High School graduate Aaron Taylor was initially eying a November release. However a Kickstarter for the platformer failed to reach its funding goal – raising just $1,900 of its $30,000 target – forcing Basement Dweller Games to delay the release of Time Crackers until February 2021.

“The team is still motivated as heck to keep going,” Taylor, the game’s lead developer, said in a message to the News. “I’ve spent a lot of time on the game’s visuals.”

More information on Time Crackers can still be found on Kickstarter, as well at @Time_Crackers on Twitter.
