The city’s drop-off recycling depot at 1040 S. Railway St. SE will close permanently July 31. Due to the successful residential recycling collection program, the city says there is no need for four drop-off depots in town. The remaining three sites are at Shamrock, Kipling Street and Medicine Hat Mall. Since the start of residential blue carts, recycling depots have experienced a 65 per cent reduction in the quantity of recyclable materials at drop-off locations. The S. Railway Street depot receives the lowest volume of the four depots. Overall, recycling activity has increased 30 per cent compared to volumes before the blue cart program started in 2018. 7
Since 2018 these four depots location drew many people’s attention for recyclable materials collection and clean the environment. After 2 years of successful program one of four depots location will be closed by the July 31.But I think the moral of this program should be continued for a better future environment and encourage people to the recycling program.I am a student of environmental science department and I am conducting an assignment on recyclable material technology (this site https://kingcitation.com/mla/ helps me for making my citation and make my assignment more professional and valued) .Thanks for sharing this post.
