Angeline “Angela” Burritt of Medicine Hat, passed away on Sunday, October 26th, 2014 at the age of 72 years. The Funeral Service was held yesterday at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL. Carol Ann Marie Bailey passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2014, at the age of 58 years, beloved wife of Nelson Bailey of Redcliff. She also leaves to cherish her memory two children, Troy Bailey (Teniel) of Lundbreck Falls, Alberta and Amanda Bailey of Medicine Hat; her grandchildren, Kendra, Layton, Liam, Ryker and Zoey; her mother, Violet McKim of Medicine Hat; two brothers, three sisters, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her father Joseph McKim. Family and friends who wish to pay their respects may do so at the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME on Sunday, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 12 noon to 12:55 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Monday, November 3, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with Life Celebrant, David Townsend. .GORDON WEILAND
June 15,1931 – October 19, 2014
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Gordon Weiland on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at the Andy Mogg Hospice in Penticton, B.C. at the age of 83.
He will be greatly missed by his best friend Anna and all of her children and grand children. Also cherishing his memory is one aunt, three sister-in-laws and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Gordon was predeceased by his first wife Shirley (Flaig), three brothers Lawrence, Dave and Wallace; one sister Irene Hellawell; and his parents Jack and Anne Weiland.
Gordon was born and raised in Manyberries AB, moved to Calgary and then on to British Columbia where he retired. Gordon was always very fond of the western way of life. At Gordon’s request there was no service.
