Being Human Services has been selected as a finalist for the Alberta Business Awards of Distinction’s small business category. The Hat-based employment training centre announced the nomination in a Tuesday release, stating it is eligible for both the Small Business Award and Alberta’s Best of Business Award of Distinction. “This recognition by the Alberta Chambers of Commerce is a great honour for our organization,” Pamela Wagner, president and managing director of Being Human Services, said in the release. Wagner added Being Human Services started as a home-based consulting service in 2010 and has since “expanded to become a full-service employment training, professional development and human resources operation.” The Alberta Business Awards of Distinction winners will be announced in the near future, according to the event’s website. 6
