Even in the middle of a COVID-19 pandemic you can rely on nature to perform, and the daffodils are sprouting.
The Daffodil Project has observed countless bulbs coming up both at Pierce Place and also Len Mitzel Meadow.
Pierce Place is near the Teepee, between the baseball diamonds and the highway. Len Mitzel Meadow is in the south east corner of the Trans-Canada Highway and South Ridge Drive.
If you are out for a walk you may enjoy watching the progress of these plants and keep a look out for the first bud to appear.
