The chicks and bunnies are self-isolating for the time being, but the Police Point Nature Centre is offering another mainstay of its Easter weekend festivities to Hatters for home use this weekend.

Kits for decorating Ukrainian-style Easter eggs are being offered for purchase via telephone and pick-up from the centre in the morning to mid-afternoon this weekend.

The $25 dollar kit includes one kitska (the wax dispensing pen, which are locally made by artist and volunteer Bob Colley), dye and wax but not eggs. Additional kitskas are $8.

The staff will be onsite from 9 a.m. to about 3 p.m. each day to take and process orders.

Purchasers must register their order by phone on the nature line (403-529-6225) during those times and have Visa or MasterCard (no cash) for prepayment.
