A local cheerleading team returned home from a competition this weekend with a few awards, but more importantly full hearts.
The Stingerz club sent four teams to Warman, Sask. where the highlight was a performance by their Orchid Beez special needs team.
It was the first time the Orchid Beez competed at an event, and they took home a first place banner for doing so.
The Ivy Beez senior team also won first place honours, in addition to a sportsmanship award given out as part of the two-day event.
The Killerz Beez took second in their open division, while the Queen Beez were fourth in their senior level.
