Approximately 5,000 people passed through the annual Food and Beverage Expo held at the Medicine Hat Exhibition and Stampede this weekend.
The event featured more than 120 booths of local and national food and drink companies offering samples of their products.
“It was a great year in Medicine Hat,” said organizer Chris Meilleur. “We haven’t counted tickets yet, but I feel like it could very well be our best one yet in Medicine Hat.”
Meilleur says the event is all about interaction.
“It’s great for people to come out and meet the people behind the brands,” he said. “I think a lot of the chefs like coming to these because it gets them out of the kitchen and talking with people.
“This is just a really fun night out for a lot of people – we know there’s a lot of people looking forward to this every year.”
