The Peking Acrobats at the Esplanade

The Peking Acrobats will take to the Esplanade stage on Thursday to change your perceptions about the limits of human ability.

With 32 years of shows behind them, The Peking Acrobats will “perform daring maneuvers atop a precarious pagoda of chairs and display their technical prowess at such arts as trick-cycling, precision tumbling, juggling, somersaulting, and gymnastics,” the bio reads.

Music from a live band helps bring together the acrobatics and the high-tech special effects to create “an exuberant entertainment event with the festive pageantry of a Chinese Carnival.”

The show, part of the In Motion Series, starts at 7:30 p.m.
