A former executive director of the City Centre Development Agency facing child pornography charges had a brief appearance Thursday in provincial court. Wayne Smith didn’t appear in court himself, but was represented by defence counsel Greg White. White adjourned matters to Feb. 27, telling court a “resolution” is in the works. Smith was arrested in June 2019 for an incident that allegedly occurred Nov. 15, 2018. He was at the helm of the CCDA for a tumultuous tenure from 2012-2016. 6
