Another south zone death brings flu fatality total to 20

One additional influenza related death has been reported for the south zone in the latest numbers released by Alberta Health Services.

The total number of laboratory confirmed flu-related deaths for the province now stands at 20. The data covers the period from Aug. 25, 2019.

More than 4,700 people have been laboratory confirmed with influenza this season..

Here are the numbers for the last three years at this stage of the flu season.
