Acclaimed novelist giving talk on reconciliation at MHC

CBC Massey Lecturer Tanya Talaga is delivering a talk on reconciliation at Medicine Hat College on Feb. 5.

Talaga is an acclaimed novelist. Her national bestseller Seven Fallen Feathers details the stories of seven Indigenous high school students in Thunder Bay, Ont., who died mysteriously.

For her lecture, Talaga will share Indigenous stories from across the country and world, delving into the legacy of residential schools and colonization, while sharing her hope for a more just future.

The free event is scheduled for noon.
