mcranker@medicinehatnews.com@MHNmocranker With the new year under way, it’s time people start taking Christmas ornaments down. Included in that is the tree, which can now be recycled at one of three locations around the city. Trees can be dropped off at the Kipling Street Recycling Depot, Shamrock Recycling Depot and at the southwest corner of the Medicine Hat Mall. People are asked to remove all plastic bags, stands, tinsel and decorations from their tree before recycling it. Trees left in the alley or roadside will not be picked up during solid waste collection. Anyone looking for more information can call the environmental utilities at 403-529-8176. 8
