Trio of roads set to be resurfaced, city announces

Road resurfacing will start on Monday at three locations in the city. – Red Deer Drive, from Valleyview Avenue to First Street SW. – Braemar Street, from Ash Avenue to Allowance Avenue. – Fifth Street SE, from Fourth Avenue to Sixth Avenue. Work will include removing the top 5 centimetres of existing asphalt before replacing that top layer with a new asphalt surface. The new surface is expected to be applied on July 17. The public is reminded to obey all road construction and temporary signs while this work is taking place. The anticipated schedule depends on the weather. 9-8
