Monster Truck Mayhem is set to hit the Hat.
The Canalta Centre is hosting the trucks for a show tonight at 7 p.m. and then one Saturday at 2 p.m.
Canalta Centre manager, marketing and sales Lorelle Halderman says it is not an event you want to miss.
“We’re really excited to present another great family event here at the Canalta Centre,” she said. “We’ve got two big shows running and we’ve been hearing from a lot of people that they’re excited and ticket sales are going really well.
“This is an affordable event and I think it’s one that people don’t want to miss.”
Both shows will have pit parties one hour before the event starts where families can walk around, see the vehicles and take photos.
“The pit parties are included in the price,” she said. “The pit parties are an hour before so we encourage people getting there early if they want to take pictures and walk around.
“We know some kids and young families are really looking forward to this so the pit party will be ab it more fun for people to have.”
There will be a chance to ride in a monster truck after each show and it is on a first-come, first-served basis – rides are not included in the price of a ticket.
“We’re able to make the ticket prices lower thanks to our community sponsors,” said Halderman. “It’s important for us to offer good, affordable events to families in the community.”
