Canadian Olympians Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir perform in October 2018 at the Canalta Centre during The Thank You Canada Tour. The pair will be back at the Canalta Centre this fall with old and new friends with a brand new Rock The Rink show.

Tessa Virtue, Scott Moir and friends are ready for their encore.

After revolutionizing the typical skating skating show with last year’s Thank You Canada Tour, the pair were determined to find another level. They’ll be skating across the country again this fall on the Rock The Rink tour. The Medicine Hat stop is scheduled for Oct. 19.

“This year, it’s critical that we elevate the production and generate authentic entertainment in new and creative ways. Scott and I have spent our career striving for more, taking risks, and daring ourselves to be better…our approach to this is no different,” said Virtue in a release. “We want to give people a memorable experience and broaden the scope of what can be done in the show skating realm.”

Live music by Birds of Bellwoods will be featured in this show and there will be upgrades to lighting, video and interactive technologies.

Patrick Chan, Katelyn Osmond and Elvis Stojko are back for this tour. Italian Olympic medallist and world champion Carolina Kostner, and Italian world champions, Anna Cappellini and Luca Lanotte, as well as Olympic medallist and four-time U.S. national champion Jeremy Abbott are also booked for the tour.

Tickets will go on sale on May 3 at rocktherink.com
