1930 ~ DUANE CASAT ~ 2019

Mr. Duane Edward Casat, beloved husband of Shirley Casat of Irvine, passed away on Sunday, March 3rd, 2019 at the age of 88 years. Duane also leaves to cherish his memory two brothers, Roy Casat and Eugene (Yvonne) Casat; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Duane was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Bernice Casat; and one sister, Adeline Casat. Honouring Duane's wishes no formal funeral service will be held. James Ross Hanline of Medicine Hat, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2019, at the age of 75 years. He leaves to cherish his memory three children, Justin Hanline of Yorkton, Saskatchewan, Cory Hanline and Roxanne (Loren) Andreae of Calgary; one brother David (Linda) Hanline of Maple Creek, one sister Kay Schick of Langdon, a brother-in-law Bruce Webber of Black Diamond and one sister-in-law Bev Wanlin of Eastend; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Agatha and Vance Hanline; one son James Martin Hanline; one brother Robert; two sisters, Ann Weighill and Dorothy Webber and one brother-in-law Bob Weighill. James Ross will be silently remembered by his family and friends. A peaceful gathering of family and close friends was held in Cook’s Chapel this past Friday wishing a fond farewell to their beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. The memory of his smile will live on in the hearts of all those whose lives he’s touched.

Many family and friends gathered in Cook’s Chapel this past Saturday to celebrate the life of this well respected family man. Tributes, musical selections and a Poppy Service were shared in honour of John’s life who served his country in the Air Force.
