Traffic interruptions at Black and White Trail while road work occurs

Medicine Hat News Portions of the Black and White Trail south of Medicine Hat are closed or subject to alternating lane traffic until the middle of the month to accommodate road and bridge work. Cypress County officials say the portion of the route between township roads 120 and 114 was closed Dec. 6 and won’t reopen until Dec. 17 while a bridge is repaired. A detour of Eagle Butte Road is in place. As well, the Black and White Trail south of Township Road 114 will down to one lane starting Dec. 10 until about Dec. 21. Alternating traffic will be allowed in the construction zone. Motorists are reminded to observe posted signs and pay attention to road conditions, workers and machinery. 6-5
