A 32-year-old man has been reported missing from Bindloss, and the Oyen RCMP is seeking public assistance.

Carter James Schlaht was last seen Oct. 1.

He’s described by police as wearing a dark hoodie, blue jeans, black baseball cap and brown boots.

Schlaht has brown hair and eyes, weighs 178 pounds and is 6-foot-1.

He could be driving a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado with Alberta licence plate #YJR695.

Redcliff RCMP Staff-Sgt. Sean Maxwell says they’re working with South Eastern Alberta Search And Rescue to help locate Schlaht.

“We’re obviously aware of him and helped out with that,” said Maxwell. “If we were to get information that he’s in a certain place in our area, we would immediately said someone to go and look for (him).”

Anyone with further information is urged to contact the Oyen RCMP at 403-664-3595, CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or their local law enforcement.
