The Medicine Hat Wild under-19 ringette team got in a pair of games on home ice this past weekend, but couldn’t pull out a win over the visitors from Cochrane.
On Sunday, the Rockets beat the Wild 4-2 and 4-3.
Jada Harper had a great first game for the Wild, scoring and assisting on Lauren Klick’s marker.
Klick was all over the score sheet in the second game, scoring twice and adding a helper on Camryn Selwood’s goal, but the Rockies took the close finish.
Mikaela Claypool had to make numerous tough saves in the Hat goal to keep her team close.
