Medicine Hat News Hat High’s baseball program hasn’t gone into hibernation quite yet. The Mohawks were in Kelowna this past weekend while the weather’s still amiable, getting in four games. On Friday they beat a host Central Okanagan team 5-2. Ashtyn Street got the win on the mound, with Jack Didack coming in for the save. Saturday saw Hat High lose 3-2 in extra innings to the Penticton Tigers, then beat another Central Okanagan team 7-4. Against Penticton, Austin Moch took the pitching loss. Against Okanagan, Tori Nelson won and went 3-for-3 at the plate, while Josh Stark earned the save. The Mohawks rounded out their trip with a 6-2 loss Sunday to the NEZ Baseball academy. Ethan Wagner went 3-for-3 while Aidan Rissling took the loss. 8
