Emergency testing at Methanex Friday

Emergency drills will take place at the Methanex manufacturing plant in northwest Medicine Hat on Friday morning, the company states in a release.
The exercises will commence at about 10 a.m. and are part of routine training and testing of the emergency response plan and equipment.
Officials with the methanol producer were also scheduled to meet with local emergency response agencies at an event on Thursday evening.
