Police seek suspects in daytime robbery of local restaurant

Police are investigating a brazen daytime robbery in Medicine Hat on Friday.

According to police, at about 11 a.m., two unknown males entered the Spice Hut Indian Cuisine on Redcliff Drive, produced a firearm and demanded cash. The suspects then fled the scene.

No one was physically injured during in the incident.

One suspect is described as Caucasian, wearing a paintball type mask on his face, fluorescent green safety-type coveralls and with a shorter, stocky build. The second suspect is taller than the first, had a mask covering his face and was wearing all black clothing.
