The drivers were out in full force on Saturday night at the Medicine Hat Speedway.
Thomas Payne, Rich Cuhaime, Wayne Seaward, Blake Erb and Zack Schmidt all collected the checkered flag in their respective main events to set up the Speedway’s final points race, Sept. 8.
Payne took top spot in the hobby stock ahead of Alysha Stratton and Jake Sissons. Duhaime finished first in the elite street stock feature race, while Jareme Koska settled for second and Trevor Stratton took third.
Seaward bested the field in the renegade trucks class, while Curtis Bigelow finished second, followed by Jason Hardy in third, while Erb won the Legends feature race ahead of Jody Stewart and Bob Rattai, respectively, and Schmidt won in the V4-V6 class.
Seven classes will be out for the final points day on Sept. 8—Baby Grands, Evolution Cup cars, IMCA modifieds, elite street stock, renegade trucks, hobby stock and 6-cylinders.
