1925 ~ BILL TRIEBER ~ 2018

William “Bill” Trieber, age 92, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, August 10, 2018 in Medicine Hat. Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Evelyn; and his two sisters, Wilma Neish, and Margaret Martin; his sister-in-law, Annebelle Trieber; and brother-in-law, Joe McFadsen (Lori); one son, Wayne (Karen); one daughter, Delphine Anderson (Bob Rinehart); grandchildren: Jacqueline (Sam) Willcocks, Jason Trieber (Shawn Meerveld), [and mother, Kathy Trieber], Jolene (Trevor) Warburton, Bryce (Laura) Jans, Gerritt (Ashley) Jans (and father, Dale Jans], Brad (Kristin) Schaal, and Kira (Aaron) Doyle; great grandchildren: Oliver Willcocks, Lilly Willcocks, Tenley Warburton, Tripp Warburton, Kyptan Jans, Kaelyn Jans, Lewis Schaal, Capri Schaal, Masen Jans, and Emeree Jans. Bill was born and raised at Schuler where he worked on the family farm and was educated at Shepherd Hill School. He worked various jobs throughout his life before retiring as a Gas Field Operator in 1990, when he and Evelyn moved to Medicine Hat. After his ‘retirement’, Bill continued farming into his 80’s. Bill enjoyed camping, fishing, driving tractor, curling and traveling in the motor home. He loved family reunions as well but his greatest joy came from spending time with family and friends. Bill was a member of the Moose and the Good Sam Club. Bill will be greatly missed by his wife, sisters, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. After a long full life, Bill is ready to move on, with a smile on his face as the sun sets on the prairies. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1 Dunmore Road SE, on Tuesday from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m., and at VICTORY LUTHERAN CHURCH, on Wednesday from 10:00 to 10:55 p.m. The funeral service will be held at VICTORY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2793 Southview Drive SE, on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Jim Bredeson officiating. WILLIAM GRAVES

1929 ~ 2018

Mr. William “Bill” Charles Graves, beloved husband of Doris R. Graves, passed away peacefully at Riverview Care Centre in Medicine Hat on Thursday, August 9, 2018, at the age of 89 years. Bill was born in Shaunavon, Saskatchewan on July 29, 1929. He met Doris Martin and they were later married on July 29, 1952 in Empress, Alberta. They remained in Empress where their son, Kenny was born on January 3, 1954. The young family moved to Medicine Hat in December of 1955 and a couple years later, Janice was born October 4, 1957. Bill’s work experience includes working in a butcher shop in Shaunavon, on the CPR and with the Medicine Hat Police Service. He was involved with the Masonic Lodge on both local and provincial levels, CORE Association as well as the Camera Club and Gun Club. Bill enjoyed woodworking, photography, fishing, cooking and coffee times with friends. Bill will be forever remembered by his wife, Doris; daughter, Janice (David) Cottrell and grandchildren, Janelle and Thomas as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his son, Kenny on April 28, 2015; parents, Herbert and Louisa Graves; brother, Fred (Mary) Graves; sisters, Elsie (Floyd) Hyer, Margarette (Ben) Graham and Doris (Everett) Mitchell; parents-in-law, John and Dorothy Martin; brother-in-law, Hugh Martin and sister-in-law, Irene Martin.
