The Medicine Hat Public Library and the Interpretive Program are opening a new StoryWalk on a trail at Police Point Park, open to the public as of 2 p.m. Sunday.

StoryWalks are held in more than 50 countries around the world and two new stories are held locally each year.

This summer’s story is “Finding Wild,” by Megan Wagner Llyod and illustrated by Abigail Halpin.

The program often holds a repeat winter story in November before unveiling the winter story.

For more information on the StoryWalk call the Interpretive Program at 403-529-6225.
