Medicine Hat News Dozens of youngers were out on the courts at the Medicine Hat Tennis Club to compete at the Tim Hortons Junior Open. Mak Howes took home the title of teen champion after defeating Spiro Douvis by a 6-2 margin in the final. Theron Bensler topped Marley Howes 6-1 to take the 12-and-under division, while Keaton Elderkin defeated Isaac Streifel 4-2 to win the 10-and-under bracket and Lincoln Bensler bested Thomas Fentabil 3-0 to win the 8-and-under category. The Medicine Hat Tennis Club will kick off the 20th annual Barrie Shave Memorial Classic doubles tournament Wednesday. 5
