Six martial artists earn first-degree black belts

Medicine Hat News Six local martial artists earned their first-degree black belts last weekend at YMCA Fudokan Karate Club. Sensei Vladimir Yorga —a ninth-degree black belt — gave first-degree black belts to Sanja (Renate) Krco, Kyla Scharfenberg, Kaitlyn Mackenzie, Jim Hirsekorn, Hanna Zezula and Ryan Zezula at the training and grading event. Three other belts were also awarded, as Darian Kitching earned his second-degree black belt and All Seebeck and Isaak Suppene were given their third-degree belts. 5-4
