Medicine Hat Tigers fans can get their first look at the next wave of talent when this year’s bantam draft class hit the Family Leisure Centre over the weekend.

The Tigers kick off their annual orientation camp tonight with an on-ice goaltending session at 6 p.m., followed by a player session at 7 p.m.

The camp continues Saturday with a goaltending session at 2:45 p.m. and an ice session at 3:45 p.m. before winding down with the annual Black vs. White scrimmage Sunday at 9:45 a.m.

The Tigers picked up 10 players in last month’s WHL bantam draft, including 11th overall pick Cole Sillinger — a highly talented centre and son of NHL alumnus Mike Sillinger — and defenceman Dru Krebs — brother of WHLers Peyton and Dakota Krebs. The camp will also feature many players from previous drafts who hope to earn a permanent spot on the roster for the 2018-19 season.
