Hamptons’ next phase ready for development

Medicine Hat News A further phase of the Hamptons community could be coming on line sooner than expected. The developer, Lansdowne Equity Ventures, has applied to have a new subdivision in the south-end community rezoned to low-density residential use, eventually to become a new cul-de-sac style subdivision near Vista Drive. The municipal planning commission approved the change on May 9. It now goes to city council for final approval. A billboard at the site states that 13 of the potential 17 lots have been pre-sold. Last year, Lansdowne expanded other phases of the community after reporting strong pre-sales. 7-6
