MP Glen Motz hosting information session regarding firearms changes

Medicine Hat News An information event regarding proposed federal firearms changes will be held by MP Glen Motz on Thursday in Medicine Hat. Bill C-71 will be the subject for discussion on April 12 from 7-9 p.m. at Medicine Hat Lodge in ballroom A. “Canadians have been down this road before, where law-abiding firearms owners were treated like criminals under the Liberal wasteful and ineffective long-gun registry,” Motz said in a press release. “This new legislation is more of the same, as it does nothing to tackle firearms violence, but rather adds further red tape on law abiding firearms owners.” 5-4
