Medicine Hat News Sean Burns will stop in Redciff tonight on his Western Canada tour to celebrate the release of his fourth full-length album. The show at the Redcliff Legion begins at 8 p.m., with the doors opening an hour before. Admission is $15. Titled “Music for Taverns, Bars and Honky Tonks,” the album features well known Canadian musicians such as Grant Siemens and Big Dave McLean among others. In a release the Winnipeg-based singer-songwriter says the album, “is not a purposeful attempt to sound “vintage”, it’s simply what I’ve lways wanted to do, traditional country music.” Steve Earle, Bob Dylan and Merle Haggard are some of the influences that can be heard in Burns’ music. 6
