Medicine Hat News The three-show Classic Albums Live series ends tonight with one of the best-selling albums of all-time. Fleetwood Mac’s “Rumours” will be performed cut for cut and note for note at a sold-out Esplanade tonight. The album, which has sold 20 million certified units spawned the hits “Dreams,” “Go Your own Way” and “Don’t Stop.” Before the group did “Hotel California” here in the fall, founder Craig Martin explained the group’s stage presence. “We don’t even talk to the audience or wear costumes. We just wear black, stand there and play the album, with the fadeouts and everything,” said Martin. “It’s really an unusual thing in the music business but something that’s catching on.” At previous Classic Albums Live shows the performance has been split in half, with the album comprising the first half and other hits from the band in question played in the second half. The show starts at 8 p.m. Next week one of country music’s most unique and unforgettable acts will be at the Esplanade. The Kentucky Headhunters, who have eight studio albums and 23 singles to their credit, will take the stage on Thursday at 8 p.m. Hit songs for the band include “Oh Lonesome Me” and “Dumas Walker.” The band has won numerous awards including three Country Music Association Awards an Academy of Country Music Award and a Grammy. Tickets, $59, plus service charge and GST, are available at http://www.tixx.ca, by calling 403-502-8777 or in person at the Esplanade box office or the Medicine Hat Mall customer service desk. 12
