1926 ~ BOB NIKLAUS ~ 2018

Robert "Bob" Emile Niklaus, beloved husband of Bjorg "Betty" Niklaus of Medicine Hat, passed away on Monday, January 1st, 2018 at the age of 91 years. Bob also leaves to cherish his memory one son, William (Diana) Niklaus; one daughter, Ingrid (John) Hart; four grandchildren, Andrea Niklaus (Joseph Krauss), Kathryn Niklaus, Ashley Hart (Scott Smith) and Lindsay Hart (Clarke Croissant); one sister, Denise Niklaus; one nephew, Peter (Maja) Schenker; and one cousin, Christoph (Veronique) Kern. Bob was predeceased by his parents, William and Julliette Niklaus; and two sisters, Heritte and Trudi. Bob was born on October 27th, 1926 in Laussane, Switzerland and immigrated in 1952 to Canada and he immediately fell in love with Canada and called it “home”. 1926 ~ EVA RATH ~ 2018

Eva Rath of Medicine Hat, passed away on Monday, December 25th, 2017 at the age of 91 years. Eva leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Harold (Roberta) Rath and David Rath; one daughter, Bev Rath (Dutch); three grandchildren, Raymond (Nicole) Rath, Perry Rath and Brandi Peard (Grant Wipf); six great grandchildren, Madison Rath, Kingston Rath, Samantha Rath, Tyler Bang, Mitchell and Madi; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. 1931 ~ DON HAUSAUER ~ 2018

Donald "Don" Keith Hausauer of Ralston, beloved husband of the late Pamela J. Hausauer, passed away on Monday, January 1st, 2018 at the age of 86 years. Don leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Keith (Shannon) Hausauer and Kenneth (Colleen) Hausauer; one daughter, Trudy (Tim) Hunt; two grandsons, Ian Hunt and Bill Hausauer (Krista); two great grandchildren, Layla Hunt and Amina Hunt; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Don was predeceased by his wife, Pamela; his parents, Edward and Martha Hausauer; and two daughters, Donna Lee Hausauer and Karen Dee Cassidy. Don was born on February 22nd, 1931 in Medicine Hat and had a very happy childhood growing up in the Badlands in and around Irvine. He joined the Airforce in 1949. His family would like to thank everyone at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital, especially 2N, for their care and kindness. They would also like to thank the Canadian Health Care System. Raymond Roy Becker, beloved husband of Alma Becker passed away on Monday, January 1, 2018, at the age of 87 years, with his family by his side. He was welcomed into heaven with open arms by his sons: Larry (November 21, 2007) and Ricky (May 24, 2007), and one daughter in infancy. Cherishing his memory, he leaves five daughters, Dolores (Bruce) Vine, Laura (Wayne) Rath, Nancy (Rex) Pettyjohn, Shirley (Dean) Roy, Sheila (Brett) Becker, and daughter-in-law, Sharon Becker; 16 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. Alberta “Bertie” Verna Renner of Medicine Hat passed away with her children at her side, on Saturday, December 30, 2017, at the age of 88 years, beloved wife of the late Alvin Renner. She leaves to cherish her memory three children; Geraldine (Allan) Lannon of Dunmore, Terry (Lillian) Renner of Parkland County, Lucille (Garry) Lagasse of Medicine Hat, six grandchildren; Renee Lannon, Aaron (Christa) Lannon, Warren (Amy) Renner, Jason (Sarah) Renner, Delvin (Cori) Lagasse, Kendra (Steve) Perrior, twelve great grandchildren; Celyn, Tara, Kaitlyn, Colby, Aksel, Cambria, Ava, Grayson, Claire, Shelby, Sierra, Courtney (Josh); one brother, Al (Doris) Dorge of Lethbridge, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Alvin Renner, two brothers, and four sisters. TENNA McCORMICK


1957 – 2018

A beloved wife, mother, step-mother, grandmother and sister, Tenna Marie McCormick, passed away unexpectedly in Bow Island on Monday, January 1, 2018 at the age of 60 years.
A private burial service will be held at the Vauxhall Cemetery on Friday, January 5, 2018.

Tenna will be lovingly remembered by her husband Gordon McCormick; daughters Jolynne (Aaron) Block of Medicine Hat and their children Sorscha and Xander; Jaycee Cichy of Bow Island and her children Kayleb and Liberty; step-son Jeremy McCormick of Bow Island. She is also survived by her siblings Roy (Gerri) Unser, Bob Unser, Sharron (Butch) Porter, Helen (Gord) Moore, Jean (Greg) Miller and Carla (Jaap) de Jager as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and all the fur babies.
Tenna was born in Taber on October, 14, 1957 to Flory and Veleta Unser. She grew up in Vauxhall where she raised her two good humoured daughters. Tenna lived in Lethbridge for a short period before settling down in Bow Island, with Gord McCormick. She was a warm hearted grandmother who loved visiting with family and friends. Tenna always had an animal or four by her side. She had a variety of hobbies, from cross-stitch and crafting to reading, doing jigsaw puzzles or playing games and music. You would rarely catch Tenna without her Pepsi and puppies.

If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Tenna’s name may be made directly to the Humane Society of choice.
