Emanuel "Manny" Houff, beloved husband of Minnie Houff of Medicine Hat, passed away on Tuesday, December 19th, 2017 at the age of 95 years. Manny also leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Brian (Barbara) Houff and Rocky (Denise) Houff and their families. The family of Jessie Earl Swain sadly announce his passing on Friday, December 16, 2017 in Red Deer, Alberta. He will be lovingly remembered by his son Chase Swain; Jessie’s partner in life, Jodie Anderson and her children Rylan Power and Karys Power; his fathers Robert Aman and Earl Baron, his sister Tasha Swain, brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Angela Swain, nieces, Brooklyn and Marley Swain, his brothers, Logan Baron and Chance Baron, many loving aunts, uncles and cousins as well as numerous friends. Jessie will be remembered as a charismatic and energetic person with a heart of gold. Ivy Mardian of Medicine Hat, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2017, at the age of 84 years, beloved wife of the late Louis Mardian. She leaves to cherish her memory two children, Mervin (Barbara) and Debbie (Harlan) Martin; four grandchildren, Bobbie-Jo, Candice, Derek and Ryan; several great grandchildren; one brother Ed (Ida) Derheim; three sisters, Irene Deering, Joyce Rehm and Marlene Krauss as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her parents, John and Annie Derheim; three brothers, Hank, Dave and Chesley (in infancy); two sisters, Shirley and Inez (in infancy). A private family service was held.
