Medicine Hat News Damir Omerovic scored three times to hold second-place Devo FC to a 6-6 draw in Sunday’s Medicine Hat Senior Men’s Indoor Soccer League match at the Family Leisure Centre. Vladimir Khazov, Damien Severin and Travis Hyde added individual markers in the 12-goal barnburner, but it wasn’t enough to come away with a victory against Devo FC. Allan Siwela scored twice to lead Devo’s offence, while Austin Price, Jared Ursulan, Jordan Leismeister and Albert Brown each added a goal. Devo FC still holds second place with the draw, at 5-0-1, while Wild sit sixth at 2-4-1. The Earls Phantoms picked up a 5-1 win over the PBR Rangers earlier in the evening. Dean Studer led the Phantoms with two goals on the night while Brendan Lutz, Martyn O’Donnell and Tyler Helms added individual markers. Pete Innes scored the lone goal for the Rangers. The senior men’s indoor soccer league will return to the Family Leisure Centre on Jan. 2. 7
