Medicine Hat News The Fudokan Karate Club sent 13 members to the podium for a total of 25 top-three finishes at the Karate-Do Academy Medicine Hat Open tournament on Nov. 4. Kaden Smith and Yash Singhal both earned a pair of top finishes in sparring and weapons sparring, while Asashton Drew Clewlow took first place in kata and weapons as well as second place in sparring. Burke Morrison took first in kata, second in sparring and third in weapons sparring, Brandon Stillinger won first in kara and third in sparring and Hennes Dominic took first in sparring, second in kara and third in weapons sparring. Taiki Bolger earned a first-place finish in kara, Sanja Krco won second in kata and third in both sparring and weapons sparring and Stefan Krco won third in both kata and weapons sparring. Finnes Barbour finished third in sparring and Om Singhal, Jynessa Shaw and Kalan Bollinger all earned third-place finishes in kata. 7
