Annual auction raises more than $10K for Alberta Children’s Hospital

Medicine Hat News The third annual #Dominicstrong auction ran this weekend, raising a preliminary total of $10,889 for the Alberta Children’s Hospital. The auction is run yearly through the #Dominicstrong Facebook page, where people can bid on a number of items donated to be bid on. This year featured 137 items, and was the best year yet for the fundraiser, according to organizer Sean Rooney. Next up for the Rooneys’ is their annual 24-hour gaming marathon fundraiser, being held this year from Nov. 4-5 from 8 a.m. to 8 a.m. at the Beveridge Landmark Events building.
