Earls Phantoms crowned City Cup champions

Medicine Hat News Medicine Hat’s senior men’s soccer league came to a close Tuesday with the Earls Phantoms crowned City Cup champions. Earls beat the Wild 5-3, never trailing in the final match. Brendan Lutz, Dallas Neufeld and Cory Holton had first-half goals for Earls, with Tony Agbonkese getting one back. Anthoney Shields scored twice for the Wild to make things interesting but Martyn O’Donnell added an insurance marker late and Earls hoisted the cup. 5-4
