Medicine Hat Family Services invites you to its You Scream for Ice Cream fundraiser

Medicine Hat News While enjoying the last few days of hot summer weather, what better way to celebrate than having some ice cream? You Scream for Ice Cream is the second annual fundraiser for Medicine Hat Family Services and will take place on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m at Sobey’s. Volunteers from MHFS and Sunrise Rotary Club will be serving five different flavours of ice cream and will even add sprinkles if you would like. Donations are welcome and will benefit MHFS’s client programming and Sunrise Rotary Community Services Initiatives. Since 1966 MHFS has provided subsidized counselling services for individuals, couples and families. This fundraiser was specifically chosen as something that appeals to the whole family. In addition to hosting the event Sobey’s Cornerstone also donated supplies. The goal is to serve of 10,000 scoops of ice cream on Saturday. There will also be face painting. 9-8
