Riverside Neighbourhood Plan open house July 13 at Bridge Church

Medicine Hat News The public is invited to the second Riverside Neighbourhood Plan open house on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at Bridge Church on First Avenue NE. An Area Redevelopment Plan is being created to guide future development in Riverside, includes a vision for the future and a set of objectives to develop policies. The plan is a blueprint for the far-reaching future of the neighbourhood. This work is particularly important given the changes occurring in the Riverside area. An initial open house was held in March. This follow-up event will inform residents of feedback from the community, present ideas that will be used to help shape the plan and attract additional feedback. A survey will be launched as part of the consultation process. Individuals unable to attend will be able to participate online beginning July 14.
