Instilling a sense of social responsibility for the communities we live in is important to student learning,” said Dr. Denise Henning, president and CEO of Medicine Hat College. “We are thrilled to honour Bill in this way.”

According to MHC, Yuill was chosen because both for his success in business as chairman, president and CEO of Monarch Corporation and for his ongoing philanthropy in the community.

“In addition to supporting worthy causes across the country,” reads the press release from MHC, “the Yuill Family Foundation has made several large donations to local projects in the name of Yuill’s parents. The Marjory E.
