Two men and one woman have been arrested after stealing a vehicle Thursday according to a Medicine Hat Police Service. The MHPS says it is still searching for one man.
After the vehicle was located by one citizen and the location was reported to the police, occupants of the vehicle fled the area. Two men were located by police and arrested. Another man and a woman that fled the scene and were not located when the vehicle was initially located.
The vehicle was confirmed to be stolen property. Additional stolen property including a .22-calibre rifle were located in the vehicle.
Christopher Foster, age 46 of Swift Current, was charged with possession of stolen property, possession of a firearm and breaching release conditions. Foster was also wanted on warrants. He was taken before a Justice of the Peace and remanded to appear next in court on April 25.
Danial Taylor-Dirk, age 22 of Calgary, was charged with possession of stolen property, possession of a firearm, refusing a breath demand and breaching release conditions. He was taken before a Justice of the Peace and released on a recognizance to appear next in court on June 20.
A 33-year-old Medicine Hat woman has since been arrested by police and is currently in custody for a bail hearing charged with possession of stolen property, breach of release conditions and firearm related offences.
A warrant is being sought for the outstanding male.
