Hometown Hockey posters featuring Ron MacLean and Tara Slone are hanging around Medicine Hat. The full schedule of events for the weekend has been released.
Former Medicine Hat Tigers stars Lanny McDonald and Rob Niedermayer will be front and centre as Rogers Hometown Hockey comes to Medicine Hat this weekend.
The pair will sign autographs and meet fans throughout the weekend, which will also include music from local bands The Warehouse Cats and Gas City Shockers as well as the Medicine Hat College Girls’ Choirs, The Hockey Circus Show, a trick shot competition and various other free family events. See the full schedule at the link above. The weekend events will be centred around the City Hall area in downtown Medicine Hat.
Ron Maclean and Tara Slone will host the live pre-game show beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday and will host the live intermission shows as well. Slone will also host a hotstove panel with McDonald and Niedermayer. The featured NHL game for the broadcast has the Vancouver Canucks taking on the Anaheim Ducks.
